Let's just get this one out of the way first. Have you ever been listening to Small Steps or Drunk Like Bible Times and just uncontrollably yelled out loud, "Man, I wish that someday I could bowl with these guys!". Well, thanks to the geniuses at Edge 103.9 and Van's Warped Tour, your dream is about to come true. We will be participating in the 2nd Annual Vans Warped Tour / T.J. Martell Foundation Bowling Tournament presented by The Edge 103.9 Radio! It's on June 29th, the day before the Phoenix Warped tour date June 30th.
So, if you want to bowl with your favorite band with Dear and or Headlights in their name, we're your only option as far as this event goes. Check it out here for all the info:
We're also back out on the road today for a week heading out to Bonnaroo. We've got a handful of dates on the way out starting tonight in San Antonio. along with Dallas, Columbia, Austin, Memphis and the Bonnaroo date. We're gonna be blowing out some T-shirts for $10 each at these shows, so don't miss out on that. Not sure what the prices will be at Bonnaroo though...
And shortly after we get back from that tour, we'll be heading out for a month of baking in the sun on Vans Warped Tour. Hope to see you all there. More info and updates from the road will follow. Been a while since we posted an update. I guess we've been taking it a little easy since Coachella (which went great, btw). We're back to work here shortly, starting with an excellent pool party "Star Swim" at The Wyndham Hotel on Saturday, May 23rd. Check out the flyer belowfor details. We've also, got Bonnaroo, VAN's Warped Tour and Summerfest coming up this summer, so check dates below and get your tickets now. We're on the first whole month of VAN's Warped Tour from June 26th thru July 26th, so if your city's Warped date is between those dates, we'll be there.

Sorry we had to cancel the last 2 dates with ATAL in FL and GA. There was a family emergency for one of us and we had to bail. Everything is alright, but it wasn't an option to stay on the road and finish out the last 2 shows. We'll be back, we always are. We do have a show in Phoenix later this week on Thursday that is NOT cancelled, you can get tickets for it now by clicking on the poster below. It's a smaller venue than we usually play in Phoenix, so it may sell out. See you local folks there.

Well, we leave for tour tomorrow. We'll be heading up the west coast and thru the midwest down to SXSW in Austin, TX where we'll be playing a few shows. Check all the dates below. Kinch (first half ) and Miniature Tigers, Reuben's Accomplice (2nd half) will be touring with us. We're also working on adding a few dates after SXSW with some other friends of ours, so stay tuned for that. Anyway, we are running a contest where for every show coming up we will be randomly selecting someone from the email ot text message list to get into the show free (plus a guest). So scroll down and sign up for one or both of those lists ASAP. We've already selected a winner for LA Knitting Factory show, FYI.

The Lineup for Coachella was officially announced last Friday and if you look really closely, you'll see our name at the bottom of the first day. Needless so say, we are very proud to be playing with all these great artists, some of whom have had an immeasurable impact on shaping our own music. Hi friends,
I hope everyone had a nice holiday time. I'm not sure if we've sent out one of these since last year, but either way, happy new year! I just want to update you on what is going on with DATH in the coming months.
We've got a headlining tour coming up in February and March. A great local band from our home state of Arizona, Kinch, will be playing the first half of the dates, and then two more great Arizona bands, Miniature Tigers and Reuben's Accomplice will be replacing them for the second half. The tour finishes up at SXSW in Austin, TX where we'll be playing an official showcase and a few different parties. Specifically, we'll be playing our friend Psyko Steve's I Heart AZ Party at The Jackelope on Thursday, Mar 19th. It'll be the same lineup as the tour (Mini Tigers, Reubens Acc) plus Kinch will be back along with What Laura Says and The Stilletto Formal. So, we're pretty pleased with that lineup.
In other touring news, we are playing the first half of The Vans Warped Tour this year (from the beginning up to Charlotte, NC). So, we're pretty excited about that. We're trying to also set up some touring between the headline and Warped that'll hit some of the cities we are missing. So, hang tight if your hometown is not on the schedule at the moment.
We are also playing a couple shows here at home before we leave for tour. They are both kind of different than what we usually do. The first one is a KEDJ The Edge Third Thursday show on February 19th, which is now being held in downtown Scottsdale at Craftsman's Court. The other show the first time we'll be playing at a Museum. The Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix is having us play a free 18+ party for them the following night, February 20th. It's an early show and we'll be doing two sets. I know, weird.
We've got some new merch designs and some leftovers from the last tour up on our MerchNow store. And speaking of MerchNow, you should also pre-order the new EP from our ex-guitarist Joel's new band, Gospel Claws, while you are there. MerchNow still doesn't have our Small Steps vinyl up, but you can get it at Vinyl Collective.
